SP2 and MCE2005 ?

I'm trying to determine whether or not it's advisable to install XP SP2 on
a relatively new (about 2 months old) PC running XP Media Center Edition
2005.

I cannot find anything conclusive online. I have found numerous posts
detailing various problems people have had with MCE after applying the
service pack. Many of those users, though, were using an earlier version
of MCE.

SO, what's the general consensus here? Does anybody know MS' official
recommendation on this?

MCE 2005 ships with SP2. If you have MCE 2005, you have SP2.
