sp2 and desktop icons

I just installed sp2 and decided to clean up my daughters
icons, so I logged in as her and deleted a few from her
desktop, doom3 etc etc..

so I logged off and logged back in as me.. and low and
behold it had removed them from my desktop as well, I
didnt uninstall the programs just deleted the shortcuts
from her desktop.. so I switch back to her and restore
them from the recycle bin and the then reappear on my
side..

whats the deal'eo here, I know this isnt right and it
sure as heck didnt work that way before

Hi,

They were in the AllUsers desktop. You would want to move them to you local
profile.

From:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop

To:
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Desktop
