SP2 "Access Denied"

XP service pack 2 fails with "Access Denied" error and then rolls back.
This happens about 45 minutes into the process.....

Anyone have any Ideas???

I get exactly the same error, I have tried it 3-4 times now, with the same
results every time. It doesn't give me any suggestions of what to do, just
access denied, and then rolls back. I am the administrator. I'm looking for
help on this one too since MS won't help me.

I'm having the same problem. I wondered if you have ever found a solution.
I did check my administrator rights in the Registry and confimred I had full
access rights. I have also disabled Norton's Internet Security and
Anti-Virus software in hopes this was part of the problem. Still no luck. I
can't seem to get a legible message other than Access Denied. This does not
provide much diagnostic help. I have also installed the beta version of
Microsoft's AntiSpyware software and tried to clean the system. Still no
help. Any idea would be greatly appreciated.
