SP2 a joke!

NeoMouser

looks like the guys at microsoft messed up again
since i installed sp2 system performance sucks
the built in pop up blocker does admitedly work fairly
well
but i keep having to install my sound device it keeps
losing the sound mixer and wont let me put a new one in
for long if i right click an icon on the desktop it takes
45 seconds to 1 and 1/2 imutes for the menue to come up
(forgive my spelling i just got off a 12 hr shift at work)
and over all it some of the new options they put in are
usless as i have a firewall antivirus and popup stopper
already. i highly reccomend uninstalling it if you still
have it and wait for them to fix it as im uninstalling
mine immediatly!

far as i', concerned Shenan,is as worthless.I wish I

IDIOT!Now I have a clean box,sp2 loaded I have problems,I
did go to the manufacture and checked for updates for the
computer,cards,and all software loaded.I have a very
clean box and your suggestions you dush out to everybody

don't you leave the help upto someone who knows what is
wrong or possibly can help.

If it doesn't help you, then you have other problems, which you have failed
to present. No one can help unless you present the problem.

If you want to see an idiot, I suggest you look in the nearest mirror.
Shenan's suggestions were helpful and informative - if you don't have the
mental capacity to comprehend or implement them, well there's really nothing
we can do about that.

It *IS* your fault! You can't blame SP2 or MS for the fact that you
completely failed to prepare your system before installing the SP. I spent
the better part of a day defragging, virus checking, removing spyware
remnants, making sure all my drivers were updated and that my software was
fully patched and - guess what?! - SP2 installed perfectly with no issues.

There's an old adage that applies here, I think: - If you fail to prepare,
prepare to fail...

I also strongly suggest you call your local college and enrol on a remedial
English course. I won't go into the spelling, grammar, punctuation and
syntax errors in your post because it's 1:20am and I have to be up for work
in the morning.

You want a solution? OK, I'll give you one - www.ebay.com. There you can
sell your computer (as you obviously don't have the mental capacity to
operate it) and buy something more suitable - say a PlayStation.

All the errors are, most likely, PEBCAK. If you don't know what that means,
I'm not going to tell you - Google.

I think you owe Shenan an apology...

I keep my computer up to date with all the latest Virus update's , spyware
program update's ect.... I defrag the HD once a week and the usual system
maint. at least once a week. I use Norton Internet Security and System
Works. My computer was running on a 4 month old install of XP PRO. I
downloaded the beta version of SP2 a while back and all the recent
updates(auto updates). I have to say, my hat goes is off to the folks at
Microsoft, sense I started using windows XP 2 years ago I have no system
crash's at all and SP2 did not hurt a thing as far as system performance and
stability. Again MS good job, I like it!!!!!!

Computer is so slow now...Shoud I restore my computer and start all over
again???
Anyways- if you look at this newsgroups- there are so many people who are
having problems with SP2- I do not think we should consider them all as an
Idiots! We all are here to help each other, right? By the way- I am russian,
so my spelling is far beyond of many people here ( and grammer too), please,
do not send me anywhere ( like school courses) and just try to help me, ok?
