Squirrel-Salad

I had a few problems while installing Sp1 on vista and am now unsure if its
installed or not. It does not show in the Windows update page but past
experiance has told me this does not always mean it has installed. How can
I check?

Control Panel (Classic view with all the icons)

Windows Update

View Update History

Look for "Windows Vista Service Pack1 (KB936330)

If it's there, you installed it. If not, you didn't.
 
Right click my computer and choose properties. If its installed then it will
show just under copyright
