Sp1 downloads. Tries to install first of three parts. Fails to restart. Have
to start with Windows help procedure. Log shows 2 failures. Wasted 2 hours.

Reformat Your Computer And Install Open Source Linux Ubuntu 7.10 RTW,
Just FYI.

But I love Vista so much. Seriously, I might partition and go to a dual OS
anyway.

As per request. I had to download full SP1 Standalone Installer (434MB) in
normal mode. Then went to Clean Boot Mode via MSCONFIG to install. Worked OK
except "Startup Repair" was still needed to reboot final time.
