SP1 with EWF and Wise installer

Hi,
I have an XPE SP1 image with EWF RAM REG enabled. I have two partitions
in my CF card. C: drive is writable (EWF not enabled on C:) and EWF
enabled on D: drive. System files are located in D: drive. I also have
a wise installer that extracts some files into C: drive. The temp files
for Wise are also created in C: drive.
Run wise installer with EWF disabled:
Works OK.
Run wise installer with EWF enabled:
The temp files are created but the files are not extracted. No errors
reported.

I don't quite get this behaviour. Any ideas?

I don't know if SP2 fixes this issue. I can't go to SP2 level anyway
because it increases my boot time by almost twice and the image size
gets considerably bigger.

Thanks,
Kap

Is it the same target you are trying with bot scenerios?
You don't do any reboots during the running the Wise install, do you?
If you have Filemon running druing the installation with EWF enabled - do you see any any file activities there or Wise install just
fails at the beginning?
I don't quite get this behaviour. Any ideas?

Frankly, I don't see any connections between EWF and Wise. However, who knows what kind of issue you stumbled upon.

Well.. I don't think SP2 would help you with the issue but just to move forward later when you fix the issue to SP2 may be wise
considering fixes and new features there. Just make sure to disable the things you may not need there (e.g., Firewall, etc.)
