Very good points.

Ideally, only users with a test machine and the time/knowledge to solve
problems would use it.
Feedback from a public beta can be very useful to MS.

The point in that is 'Candidate'. This is like the reference for a
previous employee 'He has not been *seen* to do anything amiss'.

It does not mean that there is nothing left to do. - Consider the
acronym: Brings Errors To All

Apart from anything else, it will have a time limit, and have to be
removed before installing the final. I will have a drive Image to
restore to.
