sp1 error

Can't setup sp1, says keyproduct invalid, is there anyway
I can change the key product without formating?
 
You'll need to purchase a "full retail version" of Windows XP Pro,
and use the new Windows XP Pro CD and Product Key to
perform a "repair install". An upgrade version of XP will not
work in this instance.
