SP1 causing driver problerms?

I think that Vista's SP1 caused my "No Audio Output Device is installed"
problem as well as my missing keyboard. Having not sound really sucks. And
having to use an external USB keyboard on my laptop. I see other posts
saying other things are missing - alanrco's "Digital Camera - really weird
problem" for example. I use Vista Home Premium on my Acer 5610z laptop.
I'm working with Acer support to try to get the drivers (or whatever is
gone) back. My attempts are failing - is SP1 blocking them? Can I / should
I attempt to uninstall SP1? How?

If you uninstall SP1 and the problem goes away, then yes SP1 is the problem.
This is not official but from my observations laptops seem to be more prone
to problems with the update. For me it was the opposite, I had problems
before SP1 and none after. If you uninstall SP1 and the problem goes away
you should wait till Winduws Update 'offers' it to you.
