Source codes dont work!

My computer has stopped allowing me to view source
codes. The button for "edit" does not show up and when I
left click and select source, nothing happens!!!!... just
out of the blue, I dont know how to fix it... If you can
help me please do cus I'm trying to help a friend out
with her website and I'm getting such a headache from
this... thank you so much

First, clear the IE cache. IE> Tools> Internet Options> General> Delete
files (and delete offline content.) It's often recommended that the TIF
folder be kept at about 50 MB (Settings.)

If you have a shortcut to Notepad.exe on the desktop, rename it.

Some people have reported that Quick View Plus can cause this
