did you have a cd-rom (or something like this) with Windows XP drivers??
Arer the drivers allready installed??
I need more informations to help you.
You may need to visit the vendor's (of the sound card) web site and
download new drivers. Look in Control Panel, double-click System, click the
Hardware tab, click Device Manager, and click the Sound, Video and Game
Controllers icon. See if any driver-related problems show up (which I
suspect) and hunt down and install the XP-specific driver to your sound
card. Do not use the CD that came with the hardware. Go to the vendor's web
site and see if you can find a newer, XP-specific driver.
