My pc is making this annoying clicking sound. I can't associate it with any
application; it clicks in intervals. The click occurs even when the system
is on but not being used. This clicking is driving me batty!Any
suggestions? I have Office XP Pro, a Logitech cordless mouse and keyboard,
and a Santa Cruz sound card also Google Desktop Search. Thanks

You need to isolate whether it's coming from one of the speakers (either
those you have attached or the PC's speaker) or from a hardware device.
Open the computer case and listen/

It is coming from the speaker. I can mute it.

It's a process of elimination you have to go through. Search for all the
sound files on the system and play then to see which one it is.
