Hi
Im trying to put new sound on my desktop icons, i have
problems saving on disk,I am trying to save off a CD
which i got free from how to projects magazine, but when
i go to get what i saved on my disk there is nothing
there, Im pritty new to computers as you can tell, can
anyone please advise as its driving me crackers, i have
been trying to fatham it out for the past 3 hours.

Hi, Kenny. These are all separate problems, are they? It's a bit hard to
tell exactly what's going on with your situation from your post.
There's nothing wrong with being new to computers - everyone was, once.
I think you'll be happier if you 1) buy a simple computer book like "XP
For Dummies" (dreadful name, but decent books); 2) think about hiring a
good local computer person to come over and give you a bit of hands-on
training on your own machine.
