Sound

May be wrong group but hear go's The sound on my puter works for one user
but it will not work for another user The sound is on an onboard Realtek
AC'97 Audio for VIA (R) Audio controller. When I go to Sounds and Audio
devices their is nothing in there e.g. in the sound playback device their is
nothing listed but I can hear Sounds When playing MP3 in windows media
player, but other user cannot!!!. their is nothing listed in sound recording
either. When I go to Hardware it reports that the device is working properly
but it is clearly not working for the other user on this puter.

Do you have different user hardware profiles in use on your system?

Decided to ditch the on board sound for a PCI sound card all seems to be
working OK for the moment. Thanks all for your input.
