Sound

My sound wont work!!! it says that there is an error in my sound device. my
speakers are plugged in and untill yesterday they worked fine. no sound will
come out of them now. Does any one know what to do???
 
Right-click on the "Volume control" (Right-hand bottom corner by your
clock) & "Open Volume Control". Open "options" and check that the
necessary boxes are ticked.
