A message is displayed when using windows media
player: "cannot play sound C:\WINDOWS\Media\chord.WAV."
How do I correct this problem so I can play sound? I have
used troubleshooter and adjusted settings.

Hi,

Search the computer and see if the file is missing. if the file is available then you need to check if the sound drivers are upto date. Are you able to hear other sounds when the system is on.

You should start a new Thread/Post if you have a problem.. tacking your prob
onto the tail end of some other prob may result in no replies..
