I had Windows XP loaded on my comupter and now I have no sound. I have gone through all of the trouble shooter prompts and even udated the drivers. What else can I do?
Go to the program settings for your card. There should be
controls for things like volume and mute. Cards vary and I
had a card that would not work with programs because it
was not told to detect my program.If all else fails;
reinstall your soundcard by physically removing it and
restarting Windows, then reinstalling the card and
rebooting.
