Carroll Buesing

I keep hearing a sound now and then on my computer that
sounds like a drum roll. Can anyone tell me what this
means?

I might suggest to you that you post this to another NG as this NG is for
WIN2000 AD issues. I am sure that your situation in not AD-related.

I very well could be the fan on your CPU lost it's 'equilibrium' for a
moment...was the PC moved from one location to another or has someone bumped
it?
