I’m running Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005 Version 2002 Service Pack 2.
The laptop I use is a Gateway M275 Tablet. The problem I am experiencing is
that when using headphones (earplugs, specifically) the music is to loud.
I’ve adjusted the system volume as low as it can go (and still get sound)
through the control panel and hotkeys. The programs I use for music (Ctrax,
Windows Media Player, etc.) are also turned down as low as possible, e.g.,
“1%†volume. But its still to loud. I can hang them off my ears to use
them, but people in the library around me can hear them and typically
complain at the noise. Is there any way to get something between the 1% and
no sound?
