Don't know if my message went through or not because of connection problems
here. But, just in case, working in XP Pro, I notice on startup as well as
coming out of hibernation or standby, some of the sounds in my sound scheme
are not applied. For example, the click sound when clicking on Explorer
folders does not sound. However, when I go through Control Panel to apply
it again, all is well. Any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance.

Fellas,
Try this. Start>Run>Regedit, navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER, if (Default) is
blank in the "Data" column, right-click and delete it. Xp will immediately
rebuild it with the correct value "value not set". Also check
HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21 for the same condition.

Good Luck,
John

I am having exactly the same problem, so if you get a fix
please let me know. Cheers
