sound recorder

I am trying to record using the sound recorder. It seems to record ok, but
when I play the file back, I can just barely hear it even with my speakers
turned up as loud as they will go. Also, and this might be part of the
problem, at all times, even when playing the sound file back, I can speak
into the microphone and hear my voice through the speakers along with the
sound file. Can anyone help?

Try R.clicking the speaker by the clock,adjust audio/properties,set to record
or playback depending on the mode.Also,WM encoder records 10X better with
unlimited recording time.
 
Do you have a URL for "WM", whatever that is?

Double-click the volume icon in the Notification area and remove the
microphone from the Playback area; it should only be in the Record section.
