Thanks very much for the advice, sounds like Audacity is the way for me to go.

I know that Sound Recorder work, why?

For example:

Because ,by creating a blank file that hold 480 seconds recording time
( blank_8min.wav) you can reuse it for your recordings and save as
whatever filename .

Start the Sound Recorder and click record button til it reach 60
seconds or stop ,
then click again until you see the seconds increase to 480 or more then
save as above.
