Sound recorder memory problems

I am trying to edit a couple of wav files in sound recorder by cutting the
length down. I am using the edit/delete after this point option, but when I
do this it says there is not enough memory to complete the operation. There
are no other programmes open, and the sound files are only about 40kb

Any Ideas ?

Hmmm... I guess its a flaw in the cutter program ur using.. Use an
alternative one.. Nero Wave Editor is awesome..
