Sound Program Events Different

I installed Visual Studio .Net and it changed all of the
program events for a sound scheme to is own events. Not
normal windows events. I uninstalled the program and I
didn't get the old list back. Any ideas how to restore
this without a reinstall of windows?

Go to control panel sounds and audio devices click sounds

tab select windows default as sound scheme click
apply /ok. Hope this helps.
