sound problems

when online , my music players skip and speed up , whether
it's a file or a cd .when i'm not online evrything works
fine .i have sound blaster live 5.1 . using musicmatch and
realone players .

When you're online, your computer works harder because
it's running web pages now along with the other stuff that
you already have going. It sounds like you might need to
upgrade on your RAM (adding more memory). More RAM will
let the computer run smoother because it lightens the load
on the processor. Press >Windows< and >Pause/Break< at the
same time. Look at the bottom of the window that pops up
and see how much memory that you have. It should look
something like xxx,xxx KB RAM If the numbers show less
than 256,000 KB RAM =(256 MB), i would suggest adding some
