sound problem

after formating my computer i cant get the sound to work.
it says im missing videocontroller, sm bus controller and
multimedia controller.

If you formatted your drive and reinstalled WinXP you have to reinstall
your device drivers also. If you need
further help with that let me know the make and model of your motherboard
but they should all be on a
CD that came with the computer.
