Sound is very quiet

I have played a video using Nokia PC Suite player, it was a little loud so i
turned the volume down in the media player, however now all the volume is
very quiet and when i open up PC Suite and turn the volume rite up it makes
no difference, Ihave been to the control panel and turned up the volume on
sound control I think it was and still it is very quiet.

Any suggestions? Thanks

Turn the physical volume control on your speaker(s) up.

Open Volume control...
Start | Run | Type: sndvol32 | Click OK |

Make sure that all of the volume sliders are all of the way UP.
Make sure that nothing is muted.

Open the Control Panel from the Start Menu.
Look for anything related to your particular sound card/drivers (SigmaTel
Audio for example) open that if it exists and...

Make sure that all of the volume sliders are all of the way UP.
Make sure that nothing is muted.
