sound effects manager

I have avance ac97 audio accelerator for my sound card. I
also have a sound effects manager in my Control Panel. Do
you know if the sound effects manager came from WinXP or
the sound card itself.

This would be part of the AC97 drivers. Its not part of the Windows OS.
