I'm having a problem with my sound on my laptop and ran the diagonstics. It
tells me I need to install SNDVOL32.EXE and also DPVSETUP.EXE and I can do
that from Add/Remove Programs. I also cannot check the box to get a Volume
Control in the Systray.

Also, my internal or external microphone does not work.

How the heck do I install those drivers?

Thanks,

Tom

The drivers will have come on a cd from your laptop mftr. or perhaps are
in a folder on your hard drive. Otherwise, download the correct drivers
for your specific make/model laptop from the laptop mftr.'s website.
Follow any installation instructions.
