sound disapear

when i install xp sound vanished off i dont know if i
should define sound form it's cd although i know xp
define all card in computer if i should i dont have this
cd and i dont know the kind of that sound so is there
anyside can defind to me the sound.
hope to replay me as soon as you can.

Go to www.lavalys.com and download Evereset Home. Install this program
and run it. Now look under the sound section and it will tell you what
sound card you have and even provide a link to the drivers for you. If
you want, you can even post back with the sound card make and model and
I'll find the drivers for you
