Sound crash

Every week i have to reboot like 6 times! When i boot i can do what i want for 5 minutes and then my sound stops i only hear really fast beeps, and my cpu works on 100% and it's like a 100Mhz . I had this ever since i upgraded to XP. my sound card is a sound blaster 5.1 from Creative
