Sound clips, volume?

I have found that some sound clips play much louder than others and I would
like to maintain the same volume throughout the Power Point presentation.
However, I have been unable to find a way to adjust the volume.

I do know there is a volume adjustment in the Custom Animation menu, but the
only part of that adjustment that actually works is "mute".

Has anyone else encountered this problem? I hope someone can help me.

Not something you can do in PowerPoint.

You really need to adjust the volume with a sound editor BEFORE placing the
files into PowerPoint.

What you need is a free sound editor to adjust thing before you insert the
sound. Try this:
