computer, the sound doesn't work. it says "cannot play back the audio stream:
no audio hardware is available, or the hardware is not responding." i had
listened to music on my computer before, but now i cant. is there any way i
can recover or get new hardware for my memory card? i have windows xp home
edition, with enpower
i really want to be able to listen to my music
thanks

if you don't have the sound card drivers you have a couple options:
www.driversguide.com if you know the drivers you need.

you might be able to retrieve them by doing a system restore from before you
deleted them.

Hi, Deleted.

We would have a much better chance of helping you if you tell us the make
and model of your computer - or of your sound card, if you installed it
yourself - or of your motherboard if it is onboard sound.

See how much we DON'T know about your computer? :>( Until we know at least
some of that, we're just guessing. You can see your computer; we can't.

You mean, get new drivers for your sound card, don't you? You probably have
drivers that came with your computer or sound card; look through your CDs.
But those drivers, even if you can find them, are probably outdated. To get
the latest and greatest, your best source probably is the website of the
hardware maker. (www.soundblaster.com?)
