Sound Card Problem

I just recovered my computer, and now my sound card doesn't work, and my
computer can't install the drivers, and I can't find the drivers anywhere. I
have a VPR Matrix 226R desktop and the soundcard is Soundmax digital
integrated audio. The recovery process only got through the first CD, and it
never ran the 2nd. Should I try again and do both CDs?

No, I just go to control panel and sound devices, and it says the drivers for
it are not installed, so I clicked install software automatically but it
couldn't do it. Then I disabled the hardware under device manager, and now it
won't even recognize the sound card, it just says it's an audio device with
no drivers.

Right click on your sound device and enable it. The go to update driver and
install it from a specific location and point that location to your CD drive.
