Tim

Hi,
I have a Sound Blaster Audigy internal PCI card and was wondering if anyone
can direct me to the site containing the latest Windows XP Pro drivers (I
have lost my CD)

Thanks,
Tim

You may have found that Creative does not make the full driver set available
for download. The updates they post may not be of much use to you, without
the CD.

Compaq (HP may be more obliging. For example, the "Softpaq" SP20920 may be
the full Audigy installation. I expect that it does not require Compaq
hardware to run. The bad news is that it's large, approx. 400 MB.

ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/softpaq/sp20501-21000/SP20920.txt

(read the above text file first)

ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/softpaq/sp20501-21000/SP20920.exe

Depending on what sort of net connection you have, you may prefer to contact
Creative for a replacement CD. (It probably won't be free, but it should not
be expensive.)

However you proceed, I suggest using a CD burner to maintain a backup copy
or two of the drivers.

Good luck.

If no software is installed, windows update is the way
to go,it'll install it for you, less the nonsence that
creative throws in.
