sorting of categories - Outlook 2003

extensive list of categories that we use for instance we have 10 products.
My questions is this - when I view by category is there a way that I can sort
a particular group of items? Such as a product which may read something like
Product Name - EMEA or
Product Name - US, )
Product Name - CTD (product name is actually the same inall)
and I would like to be able to open the category and sort by subject so that
they fall in order but when I try to sort by Subject at the top of the window
everything sorts into a separate entry and not helpful at all.

Thanks for your time and assistance.

That's a weird quirk of 2003. Here's how to get around it:

sort first
then grab the Categories field and place it in the Group By Box (so now it's
grouped)

If you have never used the Group By Box manualy, it's on the Advanced
Toolbar, to the right of the Current View Window. Turn it on and you'll see
a grey box appear at the top of the table. Dragging fields into that grey
box groups by the field.
