Sort Address Book by Company

In my previous version of Outlook, my address book sorted the same as my
Contacts file, which was Company, Last Name, First Name. In Outlook 2003, I
can set up my contacts file this way, but the Address Book will only sort by
first or last name. Is there any way to sort the Address Book by Company?

Um, no it didn't. The Address Book interace hasn't changed in a LONG time
and it is not (and never was) configurable.

My address book definitely did used to sort by Company (I went back to look
at the previous version on my old PC). But maybe it was not an issue with
the Address Book Interface. I guess I rigged it to do so in the way I set up
the "File As." I always chose Company, Last Name, First Name as the order.
When I imported the address book to my new Outlook, the 'File As' still came
in that way, but Outlook now seems to ignore it. Interestingly, sometimes
Outlook would show my contacts with the Last Name, First name in parenthesis
after the Company - and the few that are set up this way do show in Company
order (?)

Any ideas?

And what version of Outlook was it? If you click Help>About in Outlook on
the old PC, what does it say? If you open the Address Book interface, what
menus do you see? If you see a Help menu, you are NOT using the Outlook
Address Book.
