Sony's Cyber- shot viewer

I just purchased a Sony DCS W50 and I'm trying to use the Cyber- shot
viewer. I copied some pictures to my PC and then wanted to delete them from
the Cyber shot folder. I couldn't find a way to do this. I finally deleted
them in my Windows folder but the folder originally created by Cyber shot
(3-12-06) still remains with blank images and red question marks in the
middle. How do I delete these? I've posted this question on a Sony forum but
received no response. I'm hoping someone here is familiar with this viewer.

There is a 'delete' facility on the main menu of the Sony. Also, if you want
to get rid of all the photos it is a good thing to use 'format' which clears
everything off.
