I want to do a destructive format on my computer, I dont have any XP disks.
How do I do this in window XP ( I want to wipe out every thing, so the
computer is like I just bought it)

You should have a Sony manual for the computer. It will have the
instructions for your task.
If Sony did not put a copy of the restore files on a hidden partition, you
are in deep S--t.
Then you will have buy a copy of Windows XP and download all the Sony
drivers for that model.

PS When you redo your Sony, fix that stupid procedure where they split the
drive into a small partition for the OS and a large partition for the D
drive. Unless you are a true Geek, and know to install all programs into
the second drive, you end up filling up the small C drive and crippling the
computer.

Another (and ultimately cheaper) thing to do would be to call Sony and get
the recovery CD's from them.
