Sonic Update Manager

For the last two days after installing Microsoft updates get a message
regarding sonic update manager - needs disk -can't get it off screen.
checked startup and can not find anything that looks like sonic manager.

See if you have a program called "RecordNow". It's software for controlling
cd/dvd writing made by Sonic. Your questions is the top one asked, click on
this link to find out how to fix it:

Go into Control Panel and you will see the update icon for your product.
Open that applet and change the update settings to "Manual".

The executable for Sonic Updater is sgtray.exe. That error is fairly
common. You can uninstall Sonic Updater from Control Panel Add/Remove
Programs.

I have the same problem. Key: after installing Microsoft update, but they
don't give a solution to something they caused.
