Sonic MyDVD not work

When I try to open Sonic "MyDVD V5.2" program I get
message "Cannot read skin file - re-install the
application". Also the the Restore feature in Windows
is not working. Sony says the problem is with my XP
Home. Can someone please suggest a fix?
