Something new in WIN XP Home?

Hi,

For several months now, I have been able to, 'drag n'drop', icons onto
the launchbar, just immediately to the right of the START button.

All of a sudden, I can no longer drag more than (3) icons; I drag a
fourth icon to the launch bar, and instead of adding the new icon, it
add something that looks like a set of double arrows.. >>

Now I have 3 icons in the launch bar, and when I click on the double
arrows, two more icons show. But I cannot add anymore!! Is this
weird or isn't it? In the past I had a string of 6 to 8, even more,
launch bar icons showing, and no double >> !! I'm befuddled. (haven't
used that word in years!!!)

I would be so thankful for any help in getting my launch bar back to
me.

You must unlock the taskbar. Right click it and uncheck "Lock the Taskbar."

After you unlock it as whatkey suggested, just drag the right hand side and
make it as long as you want.
