Something is preventing me opening ebay pages - please help.

Hi,

I run WinXP Pro SP2. Norton Internet Security, and Microsoft Anti-
Spyware.

I want to sell something on Ebay. But the Ebay links will not respond -
when I click on them, nothing happens.

I tried putting the several Ebay pages into the allowed list of trusted
sites. But this works on only one page at a time, and eventually, there
was no page information which I could add to the trusted sites list, so
I have come to a halt.

Please advise where and which setting I need to change so that I can get
into Ebay without interruption.

Many thanks

Royston.

Try re-registering the .dll files. Since you have SP2:

Start>Run cmd [enter]
iexplore.exe /rereg [enter]

Malke Hi, and many thanks for your response.

When I tried to enter 'iexplore.exe /rereg' I got the response "is not
recognised as an internal or external command - - -"

Will you kindly check and reconfirm the correct syntax for the command
you suggest.
