Wondering if we should correct this to:
my account (e-mail address removed)
*needs to be* hacked into
could you please send me the password
so i can hack into it?

First - you are asking on a public peer-to-peer newsgroup for a password to
be sent to you for an account you have shown no true ownership to. Not to
mention you want people to send you this password - but you give them no way
to do this - so you expect them to post the password here in the same public
newsgroup. Maybe you expect us to email the password to the hotmail account
you say has been hacked? If so, don't you think the hackers have the
password already?

Not to mention (wait - I already did) that this is a peer-to-peer newsgroup,
so how would we have the password to this account?

Even if you get your password reset by someone (as already mentioned, we are
a self help group and are not empowered to help at all with this), I would
advise you to set up an alternative email account for use in emergencies
like this one. That would be a much safer way of informing your contacts
that your account has been compromised. I would imagine that your ISP can
provide you with email facilities. Otherwise, there are masses of very good
free Web-based email offerings - as an example, I use handbag.com, which is
excellent.

LOL - I like that. I feel empowered already, and maybe even self-actualized.

And you are not talking to hotmail because??

Ah, one can talk to hotmail as much as one likes. The problem is getting
hotmail to respond. :-)
