Some Web Pages Yield errors

This problem just started. Running IE6 on a Windows 2000 Pro machine. All
was well until a couple days ago. When I try to open some web sites or
pages, I receive the error message stating that an error has ocurred and
Internet Explorer will be closed. It is not every web page ... it seems to
be hit and miss. Have checked for viruses, cleaned adware and spyware,
deleted cookies and temp files, but the problem remains the same. Any ideas
would truly be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Kah,

I am only guessing, but check your "Downloaded Programs Folder"
({Windowsdir}\Downloaded Program Files) for any damaged ActiveX controls.
You can right click on any damaged controls to select the repair option....
Just a guess.
