Some the thumbnails displayed are wrong

Hi, I have been scanning my family photos and listing everything by date.
Everything had been going great until a couple days ago. Some of the
thumbnails associated with the .jpg photo files are wrong. When I open the
file by name there is no problem, but we are talking hundreds of photos, so I
like to just put it on thumbnail view and access my photos that way.

Like I said a couple days ago I noticed a problem when I went to open a
couple photos and realized the thumbnail I clicked on was not the photo that
was opening. I think I have figured out that all the thumbnails with the
problem are from the same date, but all the thumbnails from that date do not
have a problem.

Does anyone have an idea of what it happening here? I am not very good at
fixing technical problems myself, but I would love to hear if there are
possible fixes for this problem.

SonicBlue05,

Try right-clicking the incorrect thumbnail and select "Refresh Thumbnail".

If you have many incorrect thumbnails then delete the *hidden* 'thumb.db"
file in the directory where the pictures are located.

How do I enable Windows to Show/Hide all files?
