Hi All,
I am trying to start a service and I get the message "some services stop
automatically if they have no work to do" and it does not start. I dont know
what caused this. It used to work fine until lately.

Can some one help tell me why this is caused and what is the solution for
this.

Your quick help is highly appreciated,

thanks, Lucky.

No that is the issue. I started the Oracle listener and it immediately
stopped.
Unless it is up and running, I cannot connect using sqlplus.
Hope you are clear what I meant

thanks, Lucky.
