Some recipients not receiving emails

Some of my emails + attachments are not being received by the recipients and
yet the emails are shown as sent in my sent box. I am using Outlook 2007 and
am not sure if the problem is my internet provider or a combination of
Outlook 2007 and Vista. Any suggestions?

There are some common issues that can cause this.

1. The mail server specified in your mail client is not relaying your
messages.
2. The mail server of the recipient is not relaying your messages.
3. The recipient is filtering their messages.

Without knowing more, if some people are receiving your mail and others are
not, it may be anti-SPAM policies that are blocking the messages to your
recipients. For example, the anti-SPAM technology we use at work blocks
messages from me at home because it I am a Comcast end user.

A possible workaround is to use the SMTP server of your ISP to relay
messages to the Internet instead of sending them directly to the Internet
yourself. Instructions on how to do this should be provided by your ISP. From
what you've said so far, it is an e-mail issue, not Vista.

If you're posting from Shaw Cable in Canada, there's a chance that your
receipient or their ISP is blocking all email from you.
