Some programs will not run with multiple users on Windows XP

When I attempt to log on to sbcglobal or a few other programs, user 1 work perfectly. The system will not allow me to log into the same programs when I switch users. Can anyone help with this problem?

In most cases it is the program itself which is
prohibiting you from doing so. Some programs only allow
once instance of it running.
